Uh...right...so...apparently writer's block/angst + slow week at work + MSPaint = perhaps the most complicated visual art project I've ever attempted. And I actually got three pages into it! Which is like, really good for me!

Anyway, long story short: our (KA and my) first two, serious (in terms of play time), Warcraft characters were a Gnome Warlock (KA's - Hepzibah, currently level 40 Warlock) and Warrior (Mine - Meeks, currently wasting away at 53 while I "pony up" and devote my attention to my Horde priest...and...like four hundred blood elf alts...). Like anything created by KA and I, it didn't take long for them to have a fully fleshed out back story/current story/future story which really, only gets more complicated with every level we gain.

At any rate, we sort of stole the name Bingles Blastenheimer from the guy in Loch Modan, and the gnome from the official art (before they made his hair blue) for their dad (because the name Bingles Blastenheimer is an awesome name, and because that's one hot gnome), but other than that, he doesn't really have any relation to the guy who's actually in the game.

I only did three pages worth of this prologue of sorts, and probably won't do (m)any more because of the effort and time required (the week I did these in was sort of a fluke), but they're technically art, and as terrible as they are, for me, they're actually pretty good art.

Plus, come on...I did them in MSPaint! MSPAINT for God's sake! Not a layer or a half-decent selection tool to be found! It's like...here's your one-pixel-pencil-tool, and your flood fill. Have fun!
